SEE Learning Level One Facilitator Training 22-23

We are excited to announce the 2022- 2023 SEE Learning Level 1 Facilitator Course run by our partners at Emory University! This course will begin Wednesday, November 9th, 2022, and we are currently accepting applications until our deadline on October 17th, 2022. The application form can be accessed here. 

Please note that the Emory Facilitator Course is can be for those who are new to SEE Learning or who are interested in using the curriculum in their classrooms. The Program is intended for participants who have a deeper knowledge of SEE Learning and who will have the availability and interest in conducting SEE Learning Educator workshops in their region. We are specifically seeking individuals who have a contemplative practice, would like to use the SEE Learning curriculum and framework, and have experience teaching or facilitating adults.

Applicants will need to complete the 6-hour “Getting Started with SEE Learning” workshop prior to beginning the Facilitator Course. We also encourage applicants to complete the SEE 101 online orientation and to read the SEE Learning Companion. SEE 101 can be taken anytime and is accessible through our website here. We are offering two more “Getting Started with SEE Learning” workshops in September/October. The L1 Facilitator Course will be divided into three sections for participants from the following regions: Asia, Africa/Europe, and North/South America. The live 90-minute zoom calls for each section are scheduled to meet on a monthly basis. A full course schedule can be found by downloading our syllabus. Attendance at the monthly zoom call is a mandatory part of the course.

  • Asia - 7 am EST, - Japan (9pm), Taiwan (8pm), Thailand (7pm)

  • Europe - 11 am EST - Ukraine (6pm), Central European Time (5pm), UK (4pm)

  • North America/South America - 6:30 pm EST - Pacific Time 3:30pm, Mexico (5:30pm), Brazil (7:30/8:30pm)
