SEE Learning UK September 2022
A very warm welcome to SEE Learning UK, a new collaborative project from The Dalai Lama Centre for Compassion and Emory University’s Centre for Compassion. The best of Emory’s SEE Learning project and the DLCC’s Compassion Matters project have been combined to provide a social, emotional and ethical learning project for schools and educational organisations in the UK.
We are delighted to launch our free key stage two learning resources with six modules comprising 32 lesson plans and presentations, providing educators with step-by-step guides for teaching resilience, relationship skills, emotional regulation, self-awareness and much more. Each lesson across our modules six modules (exploring compassion, values & ethics, building resilience, navigating emotions, strengthening attention and learning about and from one another) offer educators detailed guidance in teaching social and emotional skills as part of their support in pastoral, wellbeing, PSHE and personal development areas of the curriculum.
Alongside our learning resources, we are delighted to provide introductory workshops for educators, face to face and digital training sessions. Also available is our self-led online ‘SEE 101’ training course. To sign up for our resources and to find out more please sign up here.
We look forward to sharing more as our key stage 3, 4, 5 and 1 resources are released later in 2022 and at the beginning of 2023. If we can be of any assistance in the meantime please do not hesitate to get in touch.
